Fashion sector is every day more sustainable

Thanks to the incorporation of sustainable roadmaps, the leading retail companies bring out new Green Goals characterized by their short and medium-term sustainability: it has become a key purchasing factor. And it’s estimated that more than 70 percent of Millennials would pay more to have a sustainable product.

In addition, more and more companies are betting on a circular economic strategy. The new goal in fashion is moving towards zero waste. Companies in the fashion sector create new processes to reduce waste generation or to re-use it.

Following the vision of T2T CEO, Jordi Blasco, to democratize sustainable fashion and make it accessible to everyone, T2T launched the Sustainable Flex Fashion (SFF) project, an initiative that started in the Mediterranean area but is on the way to making it global in the long term.

SFF is based on the culinary concept ‘Batch Cooking’, that is defined as “the process of preparing multiple portions of healthy and basic ingredients at the same time and reserving them for future use, saving time and effort‘.

T2T assign half of its resources to research for detecting and discovering new sustainable solutions. Through an NGO we recycle 100% of the samples not accepted or not necessary for our clients. T2T fabric showroom incorporates 50% sustainable options. And, along with all that, the company focuses on increasing the sustainable options in our value chain.
