The Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) will take place in London, UK, from october 1st to 3rd, 2019. This new edition will be held just before a Brexit that, according on how it develops, might hamper London to continue being an important city for future Brand Licensing Europe fairs, especially for the European market. However, it’s worth recalling that the English licensing market is one of the most important in Europe.
This year the fair launches in a new location, ExCeL London, after a long time celebrating it in Olympia. The fair always been divided into three important areas:
- Brands and lifestyle (companies that have brand value)
- Characters & Entertainment (music, movies, TV, streaming)
- Design (illustrators, graphic designers, artists)
At the same time, it should be noted that this year, like in sports sector fairs such as ISPO Munich, the category eSport, and in general, everything related to interactive gaming has gained weight in this kind of events. These categories now have their own space and stands at the show.
We will have to look this new edition of the BLE closely to discover the impact that this category has and see if it continues maintaining its strong growth in the market.
